With a reputation for excellence, they serve the South Coast of the UK and beyond, offering their clients reliable systems at competitive prices.

They are currently seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their team in Portsmouth. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and fault finding on Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Door Entry Systems across the Central South Coast.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a dynamic team, ensuring that clients receive fantastic service and support.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry Systems)
  • Fire Alarm qualifications or relevant experience preferred
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Electrical installation knowledge and IPAF/PASMA certification are advantageous but not essential
  • Electrical experience is desirable, particularly 18th edition (not essential)
  • Able to work well both independently and with a team

 

What will your role look like?

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Door Entry Systems
  • Collaborate with a team, while also having the confidence to work independently on various projects
  • Deliver excellent customer service while covering Hampshire, Sussex, and the surrounding areas
  • Participate in an on-call rota system to provide out-of-hours emergency support (compensated overtime)
