Permanent vacancy - Finance Manager
Glasgow City Centre
Salary - £46,728 (with annual increase)
Monday to Friday 35 hour working week
Office based

Our client based near Charing Cross in Glasgow are looking for a Finance Manager to be
responsible for the direction and management of a small staff team (finance, ICT and debt management) and for fostering a proactive team culture that demonstrates ownership and ensures the successful delivery of operational and performance standards in support.   • Operational leadership and direction of Finance, ICT and debt management activities and performance
  • Effective management and support of team, including annual performance reviews, SMART Team Plans, regular planning & supervision sessions
  • Financial management and planning; compliance with internal financial controls.
  • Treasury management policy implementation
  • Annual Accounts/Audit preparation
  • Budget Preparations
  • Preparation of annual insurance declaration and liaison with key stakeholders.
  • Administration of Component Accounting
  • Risk Management including fraud and cyber risk
  • Leading the preparation of Governing Body reports to ensure compliance and informed decision making
  • Contributing to the development of the Corporate Strategy and leading on policy/procedures/KPIs, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with governance, regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Driving innovation in ICT strategy and overseeing systems/software/hardware implementations.
  • Office management solutions
  • Performance management and reporting
  • Contributing to corporate publications including newsletters, annual reports and website
