• Salary:£100-110k with a 20% bonus
• Hybrid Working:Once a week in London (high flexibility on this)
• Technical scope:Sitting inside the IT Operations dept (as opposed to software development). So you will be working on projects relating to Public Cloud, data flows, process management, and senior stakeholder management across IT and non-IT teams.

The Role:You’ll be joining a team of 3:

• Head of IT Service and Applications
• IT Service Manager
• IT Operations Manager

You will be the team’s first Enterprise Architect. The team is rapidly growing with 4 other people currently being hired simultaneously to you: an Apps Analyst, Service Delivery Analyst, Cloud Systems Engineer and Cloud Network Engineer. In addition to your team, you will hold a strategic relationship with an MSP and an API integrations consultancy.

Core responsibilities:

• Proven experience (8+ years) in enterprise architecture or a similar role in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP). You will be integrating systems on an Azure ecosystem but public cloud principles from any vendor will be OK
• Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating with partners and vendors.
• A strategic thinker with hands-on delivery experience in IT transformation projects.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry is a bonus as our clients' customers work there.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and data governance is highly desirable.

As you will be the first in and will be defining Enterprise Architecture for the business it’s essential that you know what “good looks like”.

As the Enterprise Architect, you’ll partner with the Head of IT Operations and collaborate with senior stakeholders to build and refine IT systems, data flows, and processes. You'll be working on both greenfield and transformation projects aligning IT architecture with business strategies while working on a portfolio of 150+ projects.

This is a hands-on, strategic role with future leadership/people-management potential as the company grows and your team expands. You'll also work on IT transformation initiatives, M&A integration, and modernization projects, partnering closely with tech teams and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and implement resilient, scalable enterprise architecture to support current and future business needs.
• Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps that align IT and business strategies.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and teams across the business to meet strategic objectives.
• Lead architectural direction for transformation projects, including M&A integration.
• You will lead and drive meetings, including running the design authority and business change.
• Manage technology investments in cloud infrastructure, data governance, and cybersecurity.
• Align IT systems with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously assess and incorporate emerging technologies into architecture planning.
