This pivotal role involves overseeing all site works, planned investments, property repairs, and our wholly owned repairs subsidiary. You will ensure statutory compliance, optimise procurement, and foster a high-performing, empowered team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational delivery of Anchor Repairs and Property Services, driving value for money and service improvements.

  • Oversee budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and delivery within financial targets.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support collaborative delivery of business objectives.

  • Develop and empower a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

    About You

You are a strategic leader with extensive experience in managing large-scale property services, ideally within social housing or care environments. You possess:

  • A sound understanding of repairs, voids maintenance, and building pathology, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as CQC and Awaab’s Law.

  • Proven experience in leading complex investment programmes and managing high-value contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT).

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a track record of delivering value for money.

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in driving cultural change and developing talent.

  • A degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS) and a Housing Management Qualification (CIH Level 5 or above, or willingness to work towards).

  • A full, clean UK driving licence.

    Why Join Us?

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Anchor’s property services, delivering meaningful impact for our residents and communities. We offer:

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.

  • The chance to lead transformative change in a dynamic, values-driven organisation.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.

  • A supportive and collaborative working environment
