The Client

My client is a Digital Asset Trading firm that have provide a wide range of products and services for institutional investors. With a team of experienced traditional finance and cryptocurrency professionals they have an optimum place within the market to capitalise on the digital asset trading space.


They are looking for a DevSecOps Engineering Lead to work closely with the Head of Technology and spearhead an exciting project, which will see you as the intersection of Blockchain and Cyber Security, whilst building the blockchain Infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Spearhead a Greenfield project within the business involving building out the Blockchain Infrastructure on the cloud (AWS).
  • Work closely with the head of technology and empower junior team members in setting up best practices whilst building out the AWS hosted blockchain infrastructure
  • Be the subject matter expert for the Greenfield cloud platform
  • Work closely with the Quant Developers, Support and Security team.


What You'll Need

  • Deep understanding and commercial work experience within the Blockchain space as a DevSecOps Engineer or Platform Engineer
  • Expertise in AWS and experience with Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Understanding of risk assessment and threat modelling to identify threats within the digital trading space across the public cloud
  • Security awareness with the ability to understand requirements from the CISO.
  • Strong automation skills
  • A proven track record of building out cloud-based infrastructure services
  • Versatility to tackle a variety of challenges, from development to production support.
  • Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
