iO Associates is working with a key defence client to recruit aCyber Security Engineerto join their growing team in Farnborough.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in safeguarding critical IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include implementing security controls, managing vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. You'll also support the development and rollout of a new IT application and infrastructure solution essential to defence operations.

To be eligible for this role, you must be a Sole British with active MOD DV clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

Key areas of expertise:

Vulnerability scanning and reporting
Endpoint security management
Security incident response and ticket handling
System hardening
Change management support
Active participation in team meetings
Clear and concise documentation
