iO Associates are looking for aCyber Security Analystto join a forward-thinking utilities provider dedicated to safeguarding essential services for the community. You'll play a key role in delivering a cyber improvement programme, enhancing security posture, and helping the organisation align with regulatory frameworks such as CAF and eCAF.

This is a great opportunity to work across a range of digital projects in a business that values security, resilience, and public trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver cyber security improvement programmes

  • Ensure compliance with relevant cyber security standards and frameworks (CAF/eCAF, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus)

  • Monitor and manage security systems to detect and respond to potential threats

  • Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities

  • Analyse security logs and reports to detect anomalies or incidents

  • Support security audits and assessments

  • Develop and maintain internal cyber security policies and procedures

  • Provide regular reporting on incidents, risks, and compliance status

About You

  • 3-5 years of experience in cyber security roles, with hands-on involvement in implementing frameworks like NIST, eCAF, or ISO27001

  • Experience in SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, and IAM tools

  • Background in supporting enterprise-level security initiatives aligned with regulatory or certification standards
