Corporate Events Marketing Manager, EMEA
As a member of the corporate events marketing team, you will be instrumental in helping grow our business through the use of event-based marketing channels. You’ll work cross-functionally and help lead the event marketing and branding efforts to drive lead generation and develop brand awareness.
A successful candidate should have experience creating not only the events experience, but ongoing engagement post-event, such as leveraging event content for additional on-demand availability, webinars, blogs and other post-event activities. They are also responsible for setting and meeting objectives, tactical execution, budget tracking, lead generation, onsite management, results measurement, and post-event analysis for physical and virtual events.
The Corporate Events Manager should be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Previous event management experience is required, and experience working in a similar event or project management-type role in cybersecurity is preferred.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Manage marketing and branding efforts at corporate tradeshows and conferences in EMEA (i.e. Infosec, Gartner)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, Creative, Demand Generation to understand the business environment, brand, and messaging for each event
• Manage the entire program/event execution process – this includes: registration/hotels, agenda, contract negotiation, speaker logistics, executive meetings, marketing and branding materials, pre- and post-show communication, lead tracking, and nurturing.
• Manager relationships with agencies/vendors and participate in discovery and RFP processes for new vendors
• Develop and collaborate on high-impact, cost-effective marketing activities that support channel and field efforts through corporate events
• Plan strategically with the sales team leads on appropriate marketing activities and work closely with the channel team and partners to explore joint opportunities
• Review and report on event ROI and performance to determine successes, recommendations and best practices for future campaigns and events
Success Factors:
• 5+ years of experience in managing large event conferences, ideally supporting a direct, enterprise sales force in the technology industry and executive attendees is preferred
• Direct experience with industry tradeshows such as Infosec and Gartner events
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across the globe
• A problem-solver accustomed to working with a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to successfully organize and handle multiple priorities at once and manage time effectively
• Able to work independently, managing various projects and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Be a fast learner; open to learning and building expertise in supporting tech systems, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Splash, Zoom, and other systems
• Willingness to travel to various locations for events up to 30%, including some weekends
