The global RX Operations team (Gtech Ops) supports more than 4,000 users in multiple countries worldwide. They have transformed operations over the last 10 years, moving from a local IT-focused operation to a centrally consolidated approach working to industry best practices.

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous Security and Identity Management Specialist to join our team. This role is under Global Technology Operations and will function as a key conduit between the CISO office and Global Technology Operations.

You will report to the VP of Global Operations and be a key member of the senior leadership team.

This role is responsible for creating an Identity and access management strategy for RX, implementing the defined strategy in alignment with IAM frameworks and ensuring the solutions are operationally maintained.

This role is also responsible for ensuring all security activities across ops are understood and executed effectively, working with the CISO office to understand the requirements and translate those into actionable items to be implemented across Global Technology Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM frameworks to support organisational needs.
  • Developing and enforcing IAM policies in alignment with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Generating and presenting IAM-related audit reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the CISO office to identify, assess, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Responding to security incidents involving identity or access breaches.
  • Overall accountability for the Global Technology Operations security roadmap.
  • Ensuring compliance with role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Valuable experience in IAM or a similar cybersecurity role.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator are preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency with IAM tools (e.g. Saviynt).
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols such as LDAP.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and securing cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
