Job Title:Cloud Security Consultant

Location:Remote / Home Based(Some travel to client site is required)

A UK leading IT Solution and Service Provider is looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to join their professional services team. The business offers Microsoft Cloud solutions to the UK public sector, delivering for customers and clients across the mid to large enterprise space.

The business focuses on delivering end-to-end solutions for their customers, working with cutting-edge technologies across Cloud, Security, AI, and Automation. All of which will be available for the team to learn and work with.

They take pride in the great working environment and high levels of staff retention due to this commitment to their team. You will have the opportunity to work from home; however, you must be based in the UK as this role requires some travel to client sites.

Cloud Security Consultant Role & Responsibilities

  • The technical delivery of solutions across the Azure and M365 space.
  • Execute, manage, lead, and assist customers through solution implementation, onboarding, and support.
  • Implementation of infrastructure and cloud solutions across Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Azure Cloud.
  • Attend customer meetings when required.
  • Assist the Service Desk for call escalation and 3rd line support when necessary.
  • Work closely with clients to support product delivery.
  • Occasionally travel to client sites for deployment and implementation.

Skills & Experience

As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of the latest technology and software. The business does, however, ask that you have:

  • Achieved and maintained M365 Expert Status.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Exchange, Intune, Entra, and Azure.
  • On-prem to on-prem and on-prem to Cloud migration skills.
  • Strong understanding of Networking, Security, and VPNs.
  • Experience working with customers and communicating effectively with relevant departments.
