Opportunity Overview:

I’m currently working with a well-regarded law firm in Liverpool that is seeking to expand its clinical negligence team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Fee Earner, Advanced Paralegal, or Newly Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience in clinical negligence to join a supportive and growing team.

The role will be office-based in Liverpool and will involve handling a caseload of low-value clinical negligence files from inception to settlement or litigation.

The Role:

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of pre-litigated and litigated low-value clinical negligence matters. This includes liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and third parties, as well as preparing legal documentation and negotiating settlements.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage a caseload of low-value clinical negligence files independently.

Assess and investigate claims, including reviewing medical records and obtaining expert evidence.

*

Draft letters of claim, witness statements, and court documents.

*

Communicate effectively with clients and other parties throughout the life of the case.

*

Ensure compliance with pre-action protocols and court deadlines.

*

Work within a busy and collaborative team, meeting internal targets and service standards.

Candidate Profile:

*

You will be a Clinical Negligence Fee Earner, Advanced Paralegal or NQ Solicitor.

*

Experience managing or assisting on clinical negligence matters is essential.

*

Strong understanding of the clinical negligence pre-action protocol.

*

Comfortable working independently and managing your own files.

*

Excellent communication and client care skills.

*

Strong drafting and case management skills.
