BPAS vision is for a society in which women aretrusted to make their own reproductive choices with access to the information & services needed to exercise those choices.The Chief Technology Officer is an integral part of the Leadership Team,sharing the collective responsibility, as a member of the Executive LeadershipTeam, for the key issues facing BPAS. Thisrole has responsibility for developing & delivering a Technology Strategy & vision to ensure the delivery of effective digital, IT infrastructure & information services across BPAS are for current purpose & build thefoundation for an innovative, scalable &digital led future. You will overseeall aspects, across systems, data & people for technology. This includes applications (inc. AI),information governance, IT support, cyber, digital innovations, networking,hardware, & assets.

Main duties of the job
As aCTO, your responsibilities will include shaping & delivering a comprehensivetechnology strategy that supports our vision & mission, ensuring that ourdigital infrastructure, IT services, & cybersecurity measures are robust,innovative, & aligned with our goals. You will oversee the development & implementation of IT policies, manage our technology resources, & ensure thatour systems & processes are fit for purpose, secure, & scalable.
You will work closely with the C-Suite & Board, providing expert advice on IT related matters, from digitaltransformation to information governance. You will foster strong relationships with other leaders & stakeholders, enabling BPAS to leverage technology for improved service delivery, operational efficiency, & data-driven decision-making. You will also play a key role in developing BPAS's digital culture, ensuring that our teams are engaged,informed, & supported in adopting new technologies.
We are seeking a CTO with a strong background intechnology leadership, particularly within the healthcare sector. You will haveextensive experience in managing IT infrastructure, implementing digitalinnovations, & ensuring data security & compliance with relevantregulations. A deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, as well asexperience in leading large-scale digital transformations, is essential.Additionally, you will bring a strategic mindset, with ability toanticipate & navigate future challenges & opportunities in the IT landscape.

Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and healthcare information exchange (HIE). Current expertise of successful implementation of machine learning and AI solutions highly advantageous. In-depth understanding of information security and data privacy principles in healthcare. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing technology strategies that align with business objectives. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrable experience of supplier and contract management in a multi-vendor environment. Demonstrable experience of managing large IM&T procurements, including contract negotiation. Demonstrable experience of producing and presenting business cases for IT investment, including examples of successfully gaining funding approval.
