About the Role

Securitas is seeking anArea Security Operations Manager (ASOM)to join our team and play a key role in delivering operational excellence and strategic security leadership. This role will focus on supporting national security projects, advising clients, and driving security, fire, and safety efficiencies.

The successful candidate will work closely with theChief Security Office (CSO)physical security leaders, implementing physical security strategy and policy across the EMEA region. You will ensure compliance with security standards, conduct risk assessments, and act as a key point of contact for all Physical Security and Investigations (PS&I) matters.

  • Salary: £42000.00 + £7200 car allowance 
  • Monday - Friday
  • Based anywhere in the North of the UK


Job Opportunity

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Client, ensuring operational compliance and adding value across security, fire, and safety categories.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with the client, ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment.
  • Drive industry-best standards and proactively adapt security measures to meet key performance goals.
  • Conduct in-depthSecurity Risk Assessments (SRAs)and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the production ofManagement Information (MI) reportsand ensure business assurance and compliance checks.
  • Lead and supportcapital projects, minor works, and business-as-usual (BAU) premises security initiatives.
  • Serve as anincident response and security expert, providing on-call support as needed.
  • Collaborate withregional security managers, local suppliers, stakeholders, and vendorsto ensure seamless security operations.
  • Identify and implementcost-saving efficiencieswhile improving operational effectiveness.
  • Manage a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.


Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a security operations role.
  • In-depth knowledge of physical security, includingtechnical security systems, security risk assessments, financial sector compliance, and incident response.
  • Experience inline management, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership.
  • Strongproblem-solving skillsand the ability towork autonomously under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate commercial and operational benefits to clients.
  • FullUK driving licenceand willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency in IT systemsand security management software.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Formal Management Qualificationsor industry-specific certifications.
  • Experience intraining and developing staff.
  • Background inhighly regulated environmentssuch as banking, finance, or corporate security.
