Account Security Manager, Remote Based


Roc Technologies is seeking an experienced Account Security Manager to deliver proactive cybersecurity expertise, technical implementation, and strategic guidance for one of our most valued clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will leverage your expertise to drive transformative results, improve security posture, and ensure operational excellence.


This role blends hands-on technical work with leadership, enabling you to define security roadmaps and deliver impactful solutions. Working closely with key client stakeholders—including the IT Manager, Cyber Security Manager, and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)—you’ll develop a deep understanding of their business needs to tailor your guidance and support.


As Account Security Manager, you will:


  • Oversee and maintain the Vulnerability Management Programme (VMP).
  • Review and interpret Threat Intelligence feeds, providing actionable insights for the client.
  • Analyse SOC reports, delivering recommendations to address security issues.
  • Provide expert commentary and strategic guidance in security reports.
  • Manage and approve the resolution of customer security incidents
  • Conduct periodic security audits, ensuring compliance and patch management
  • Lead security improvement programs, including Secure Score and posture enhancements.
  • Support 3rd-party audits and forensic investigations.
  • Act as the Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert, leading responses to incidents and attacks.


Qualifications and Experience


At least 5 years of in-depth Cyber Security experience, with a strong foundation in IT service delivery and service management.


Hands-on experience in:

  • Analysis and correlation of security events to assess risks and define responses.
  • Development of security policies, procedures, and action plans.
  • Security audits, compliance reporting, and incident response testing.


Proficiency in tools and platforms, including:


  • Microsoft Azure and O365 (AIP, DLP).
  • SIEM operations and vulnerability management tools.
  • Networking, PKI, hypervisors, databases (SQL, Oracle), and Linux.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and NCSC.
