Job Description

A position has arisen for a Removals and Storage family-run business with a reputation for reliability, flexibility, and outstanding customer service. Looking for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join the Team.


Role Overview:


As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you’ll play a vital role in operations, helping customers move their belongings safely and efficiently. Working closely with a small, experienced team, you’ll ensure that every move goes smoothly. While experience in removals is an advantage, it’s not essential – we’re more interested in your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.


Key Responsibilities:

Safe Driving: Operate a 7.5t vehicle, ensuring safe and legal driving at all times. Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of customer belongings, ensuring all items are handled with care. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer needs and concerns in a professional manner. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a small team of movers to execute moves efficiently and effectively. Flexibility: Adapt to varying job requirements and schedules, with a positive and flexible attitude.

Qualifications and Skills:

Driving License: Must have a valid 7.5t driving license with no more than [6] points. Reliable and Punctual: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality are essential. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. Customer-Oriented: Friendly and professional attitude towards customers. Team Player: Willingness to work as part of a small, close-knit team. Flexible: Open to varying hours and job requirements.

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability

Experience:

Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (preferred) driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driver CPC (preferred)

Immediate start available.
