Job Title: Technical Consultant
Location: Gloucestershire HQ / Remote Working with UK Travel
Salary: Up to 65

About the Role:
My client based in Gloucestershire have a very exciting, newly created position on offer within their Project Delivery Team. As a Technical Consultant, you will provide strategic consultancy and deliver high-quality technical solutions that enhance clients' businesses. Working across hybrid cloud, modern workplace, and security technologies, you will collaborate with Technical Architects and Project Managers to ensure every project meets industry best practices and exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement technical solutions in line with project scope and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
Perform full functional testing of delivered solutions and ensure adherence to industry and vendor standards.
Document solutions and conduct thorough handovers to clients and internal teams.
Provide strategic consultancy, including discovery assessments, audits, and thought leadership contributions.
Assist with transitioning solutions to the Network Operation Centre for operational management.
Keep up-to-date with technological advancements and contribute to a culture of innovation. About You:
Ideally looking for a motivated professional with a passion for technology and a proven ability to deliver complex projects.

Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of migration processes and experience delivering enterprise migration projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Self-driven with outstanding time management and attention to detail.
Certification in Cloud, Modern Workplace, or Datacentre technologies, such as Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-140, MS-102, or equivalent. Technical Expertise:
Experience with some of the following is essential:

Virtualisation: VMware / Hyper-V
Cloud Technologies: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365
Networking & Security: HPE/Aruba stack, firewalls, corporate wireless solutions
Backup & Recovery: Disaster recovery technologies
Modern Workplace: Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Teams Phone
Operating Systems & Management: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, SCCM
Cybersecurity: Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, and other advanced security tools Our Offer:

Competitive Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + £3,000 bonus (paid quarterly).
Flexible Working: Predominantly remote working with client visits and office days in Gloucestershire 1-2 days per month.
