We are looking for a corporate communications leader with an excitement for tech and innovation to help take Palo Alto Networks Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America (EMEAL) business forward into its next phase of growth.
With world-class communication skills and a proven track record leading high-performing teams, you will be responsible for developing communications strategies to help Palo Alto Networks reach its audiences - from employees, to customers, to partners, to analysts, to the press - at an exciting time of growth.
The principal communications advisor to Palo Alto Networks’ CEO for EMEAL, your extensive experience working with business leaders complements your background creating campaigns across PR, thought leadership and internal communications. Your creative ideas and strong relationships - both with stakeholders and with the media - mean your campaigns get results. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you’re as comfortable working cross-functionally to develop long- term plans as you are jumping in to execute solutions to immediate issues.

This is a full time position based in Amsterdam (PANW EMEAL HQ) or London, with the ability to travel frequently to London, Paris, Munich and other regional offices.
Your Impact
The principal communications advisor to Palo Alto Networks’ CEO for EMEAL, lead and scale a communications team that is passionate about security Works closely with and reports directly to the VP of Global Communications Leads the team that is responsible for external (public relations), executive and internal communications, and analyst relations for the region Directly provides Executive Communications support for the Regional EMEAL CEO Communications - Media Relations, LinkedIn, Internal/Employee, including speaking opportunities and more Develop a variety of Executive Comms materials includingMedia Training of Executives (EMEAL LT/VP level) Responsible for development and execution of communications strategy, budgets and agency relationships across multiple countries Establish thought leadership programs, PR campaigns, and internal programs in conjunction with senior leadership across business, product, marketing and people teams Build and maintain messaging to support business priorities, including rolling up your sleeves and writing materials for executives Lead communication strategy around regional reputational issues Inside the EMEA/LATAM region, lead internal communications strategy that fosters community, culture and pride in working at Palo Alto Networks Collaborate with global communication and marketing teams in all of the above
Qualifications
Your Experience
At least 12 years of PR and/or communications experience focused on the EMEA region, with a background leading teams in tech, preferably cybersecurity Experience advising and partnering with C-Suite executives on communications Proven experience in Executive Communications Proven experience in public relations and issues management Further experience in global (including Latin America) markets a plus Strong understanding of the regional media environment, with a proven track record building media relationships and shaping stories that drive conversations Experience directing agencies across multiple countries A respected manager, with experience building (and inspiring!) teams, along with the ability to build relationships with senior executives Highly organized and self-motivated, overseeing timely, first-rate execution A team player and creative thinker, with experience working with global teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills, writing samples required
