Technical Development Lead

The Role

We are seeking a versatile Technical Development Lead to provide architectural guidance and direction to join our clients growing team, contributing to our ongoing disruption in the industry.

Position: Technical Development Lead

Location: This is a remote role, however the successful candidate will need to be able to commute to internal monthly meetings in Belfast and Dublin.

Customer vs Internal Facing: Primarily internal, occasional engagement with clients in security & technical solutions.

Term: Full-time

Technologies Our Client Uses:

PHP/Laravel Lambda functions in DynamoDB MySQL EC2

Onsite Hardware Management:

Routers Environmental sensors Network switches WiFiAccess Points Onsite embedded UNIX systems

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will lead a team using these technologies daily and provide direction in the following areas:

Software deployment and testing pipelines Managing IoT data at scale, especially using DynamoDB Architecting for AWS Designing cloud-based apps for performance and cost control Security architecture Securing distributed servers

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience is valued more than qualifications. Our clientprefers a generalist with extensive experience over someone overly specialised. They seek a tech enthusiast continuously learning about new technologies for at least 5 years, with critical experience in integrating APIs.
