Our Cloud and Custom Application delivery unit specialises in delivering digital and cloud transformations at an enterprise scale. We build world class digital experiences and applications, using agile delivery methods, leveraging robust, flexible platforms. 

Our projects can span from gathering user insight to designing compelling experiences and delivering them through a variety of touch points (mobile | tablet | web) underpinned by enterprise integration at scale, with capabilities spanning the digital, Cloud and traditional client landscapes.
 
We are seeking Programme Managers who are experienced in working with clients in the successful delivery of complex digital transformation programmes, and Project Managers who can lead some of the most innovative enterprise digital projects in the UK and globally. In Capgemini, Project and Programme Managers are referred to as Engagement Managers to reflect their core responsibility to deliver assignments profitably within a commercial framework.

Your role

Providing delivery expertise and consultancy to external clients, our Engagement Managers are placed on technology-focused delivery assignments in any sector and with varying sizes and degrees of complexity, from single small team assignments to multi-site, multi-country, multi-discipline projects. Assignments may contain a blend of Capgemini, client and contract staff and include a range of different stakeholders. You will be responsible for the end-to-end engagement, including shaping, defining, delivering, and having responsibility for budget management; security compliance management; contract and commercial management; with an expectation to build excellent client relationships enabling delivery led sales opportunities.
 

Your skills and experience

• A passion for and demonstrable experience in delivering bespoke software or integration programmes and projects using cloud technologies from inception through to live service and on-going support 
• A successful track record of working directly with clients to deliver value within a commercial framework
• A recognised programme/project management and/or agile practitioner certification – for example MSP, PMP, Prince2, Scrum, SAFe
• Experience delivering complex programmes and projects using an agile framework that may be with several teams (often distributed) and multiple stakeholder groups (including third-party suppliers) 
• Techniques for estimating, sizing and tracking programmes and projects delivered using an agile framework 
• Experience of using a variety of agile frameworks and a passion for leveraging agile ways of working with teams and with your clients 
• Excellent skills and knowledge of collaborative leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency 
• Excellent communication, negotiating and mentoring skills

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. 
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
