TwentyAI is supporting a leading platform provider who is seeking a talented Security Engineer with a strong development background to join their security team. This is a unique chance to work alongside core engineering teams to make security a seamless, built-in feature of their platform. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions that empower the development environment.

What You’ll Do

• Engineer Security in Development: Use engineering best practices to embed security within the development workflow, making it efficient and intuitive.
• Develop Security Tools: Build software and tooling to enhance and automate security across the platform.
• Promote Secure-by-Default Standards: Advocate for security as a baseline feature across the environment.
• Strengthen Platform Security: Continuously harden the technology stack, ensuring visibility and resilience across systems.
• Mentor and Enable: Share knowledge with other engineers, fostering an environment of security-first thinking.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in systems, cloud, and software security
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems and software engineering
• Deep knowledge of Linux, and experience with orchestration runtimes
• Familiar with Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery practices
• Proficient in Python and Go, with a flexible approach to using different tools as needed
• Excellent communication skills and a user-centric approach to problem-solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required
