The Team 

An opportunity has arisen for a SecurityConsultantto help evolve and develop our security capability in the cloud environment as well as looking to work with our customer base. If you have a consulting background or are looking to change from an end user environment to something fast paced and technology driven, then apply ASAP. You will report into the Director of GRC and work alongside other managers to shape and implement our cybersecurity framework for our cloud security protocols, as well as drive a security-first approach.

The Goal 

Whatyou’ll be doing 

Design and implementation of secure cloud architectures and designs 

Cloud protection and governance at various levels from network to application 

Threat modelling and design reviews of new technologies 

Deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management 

Assist in presales cycles, providing cloud security technical guidance to the sales team to solution opportunities 

Work with managers and technical teams to develop and deliver solutions based on AWS technologies (e.g. AWS Policy)

Help define a cloud strategy and putting security on the forefront of transformations 

Review and advise on architectures for applications moving into the cloud 

Assess, review and test implemented cloud-based applications and implementations 

Facilitate workshops to explore gaps in their cloud security processes and implementations 

The Player

Proven experience as a Cloud Security Consultant, with in-depth knowledge of AWS Cloud Security solutions. 

Good understanding of Network Security, WAF (Web Application Firewall), Firewall, DDoS Protection etc. 

Familiarity with AWS generic technologies and Defender for Cloud 

Good communication and teamwork skills 

Nice to Have’s

Good and demonstrable experience managing teams of highly technical staff - ideally managing through other managers of leads
