Job Title:Security Architect

Location: Chiswick or Milton Keynes

About the role

We are hiring at BSI for a Security Architect within our Security Operations and Architecture global team.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass strategic oversight and consultation with the Head of Security Operations. You will assist in guiding day-to-day activities and spearhead improvement projects that enhance our security stance. A significant part of your role involves proactively hunting for potential threats, employing a strategic approach to early detection and mitigation.

Additionally, you will oversee the strategic management of tracking and remediation of vulnerabilities, ensuring comprehensive coverage and timely resolution of security gaps. This role demands a visionary approach to problem-solving and a strong passion for advancing cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities:

Researches and Aligns Security technologies and initiatives to strategies that are fit for purpose.

Works with Enterprise and Solutions Architecture to review designs and develop pattens.

Analyses and makes recommendations to improve network, system and application architectures and configurations.

Collaborates with the Head of SecOps & architecture on security strategy and design principles

Review and update cyber security policies, architectures and standards.

Assists in consultation of projects new programmes of works and audit responses

To be successful in the role, you will have: 

CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, especially in a security Architecture role

Experience with Technical Security solutions and Security Strategy

Experience with Azure and Microsoft tech stack

Is a confident, energetic self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills

Ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to teammates
