TheRole

Proofpoint is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Business Partner to join our People Services team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in providing operational and administrative support to senior and executive HRBPs, ensuring the smooth execution of HR initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Your day-to-day

Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees at the designated location/site. Handle tier 2 and tier 3 HR inquiries and escalations, including employee relations issues, performance management, and policy interpretation. Provide guidance and resolution on complex HR matters, collaborating with HR specialists and leadership as needed. Conduct investigations into employee concerns, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement compensation, benefits, and employee relations programs that support employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Work closely with HR leadership to implement local HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with corporate standards and practices. Support HR projects and initiatives, such as training programs, employee engagement surveys, and compliance efforts, contributing to the overall success of the People Services team.

What you bring to the team

Remains up to date with local employment laws, internal and external regulations, compliance requirements, and procedures. Experience working in a high-growth environment with constant change as your companion. Excellent stakeholder partnership skills with an ability to collaborate, communicate and influence effectively. HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and HR operations Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems. Growth mindset, with a focus on continual self-development Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
