Python Software Engineer - Fast-Growing Cybersecurity Company - Fully Remote (U.K.)

As a Python Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing backend services that process vast amounts of security telemetry data. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale data processing and distributed systems within a cybersecurity context.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop backend services that process high volumes of security telemetry data
  • Build and maintain data processing pipelines to transform raw security events into actionable insights
  • Develop and optimize APIs to support detection and response functionalities
  • Collaborate with the threat research team to implement complex detection logic
  • Enhance the performance of data-intensive operations
  • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code within an agile development team


What We’re Looking For :

  • 2+ years of professional Python development experience
  • Strong understanding of data processing and stream processing concepts
  • Experience with ORM tools such as SQLAlchemy
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining production APIs
  • Familiarity with software testing and test automation best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
