With a hands-on culture and close proximity to its clients, Sogeti is currently looking for an Automation Architect to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Essential for Automation Architect Consultant to have:
Experience in creating effective automation test strategies and plans. Experience in test automation using at least two proprietary or OpenSource tools such as Sele-nium WebDriver, Tricentis Tosca, or Keysight EggPlant Experience creating or adapting automation frameworks Familiarity with at least one OOP language (Java, Python, C# etc.) Creating test scripts within a BDD environment using Cucumber, SpecFlow or similar Ability to manage and maintain versions of test assets in GIT and other repositories Experience of working in Agile / DevOps environments Hands on experience of various test types (manual and automation) such as Functional, API, web and mobility Experience with CI / CD Pipelines using Jenkins (Azure Devops, or similar) and integrating au-tomation assets into the pipeline Experience of managing a team and stakeholders at all levels Ability to collaborate with developers, testers, analysts, architects, and other members across the organisation. ISEB / ISTQB or equivalent certification in testing at foundation level or above (or willingness to obtain an ISTQB Foundation, soon after joining us, which we will cover the cost of the exam)

Mandatory Skills:
OOP language such as Java, Python, C# Functional Test tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Tricentis Tosca, Keysight EggPlant Test management tools such as Jira, TFS, ALM Experience of working in waterfall, agile and / or DevOps environments Other tooling such as Postman. Ready API, Soap UI Data Masking and Data Subsetting BDD approaches using Cucumber or SpecFlow
Nice to Have Skills:
Azure / AWS Familiarity in working in other areas of QE such as performance, accessibility, or usability test-ing Data Masking and Data Subsetting Understanding of performance testing using tools such as JMeter Continuous testing in particularly incorporating automation into CI/CD pipelines

Security Clearance requirement
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
