Graduate Cyber Security Analyst Job Description Graduate Cyber Security Specialist. This would suit an individual who is looking for a new challenge within Cyber Security and recently started their career within the Cyber Security Sector. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations of a hybrid Security Operations Center (SOC). Conduct incident triage and escalate as needed. Perform security testing and remediation. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and escalate security incidents appropriately - Triage events from our Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) and internal tools - Handle phishing response and training - Execute internal security testing processes - Assist with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) configuration, maintenance, and tuning - Develop response playbooks and strategies for cyber incidents - Collaborate with problem management teams on mitigation and incident prevention - Monitor cyber threats and report on activities impacting the business - Work collaboratively with Infrastructure and Application Teams to enhance security - Coordinate with global counterparts to ensure optimal processes and solutions Essential Skills Experience in a SOC, handling security incidents, triage, and escalationEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutionsSIEM solutionsProficiency with penetration testing tools, ideally the person and BloodhoundWorking knowledge of Active Directory and its potential security issuesPersonal Attributes Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesProactive and detail-orientedAbility to work under pressureAdaptable to a fast-paced environmentWorking Environment Hybrid Security Operations Center (SOC) with collaboration across global teams and various departments Job Type This is a permanent position.
