Reporting to the Group IT Director, the IT Security Lead has a critical role within the IT Team responsible for building and maintaining a robust cyber security posture for all ABL Group. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the business on information and network security they will help to protect ABL assets. They will advise on policy enhancement related to our business sectors and provide in-depth threat analysis of our boundary and application tech-stacks.

This role requires a detail focused individual who can plan and navigate through complex business demands for Security information whilst implementing and adhering to our various compliance standard requirements. What you will be doing.

Proactive management of endpoint security solutions across Firewalls, switching, anti-virus, spam, and encryption protection. Own the delivery of all the Information Security elements in any IT Project, ensuring that security by design is considered at all levels. Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. Using our IT Security toolkits identify and correct any vulnerabilities/threats to ABL Group systems. Quarantine, diagnose and perform root cause analysis of security incidents. Define security metrics and develop comprehensive reporting for all critical business systems and architecture. Prepare, document, and maintain security related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and security policies. Respond to business requirements of IT Security. To further develop and mature the IT Security Team. To assist in the Documentation of IT Services ensuring information is accurate and maintained regularly. Track and communicate industry trends to proactively prevent future incidents or breaches. To maintain confidentiality of company data and systems. And other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

BSc in computer science, engineering, or relevant field IT Security Qualification e.g. Sec+, CIISP  Demonstratable experience in a similar security facing role. At least 2 years relevant experience at incident management. Active Directory / Windows / Office 365 / SharePoint / MS / Azure implementation and control Experienced in on-prem to cloud application management Excellent understanding of business priorities regarding Security Expert with Mimecast products Expert with Cisco Meraki deployment and management. Experience with Azure and all MS Security platforms (Sentinel) Strong understanding of network permissions and security principles Strong understanding and working knowledge of Active Directory, AADDS, AAD, group policy and domain controllers. Strong knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, VPN devices and wireless technologies Natural interest in InfoSec with desire to keep up with latest technologies and advancements. Strong technical experience in networking including configuration and management of routers, switches (LAN/WAN), Wi-Fi, telephony, etc. Natural interest in IT with desire to keep up with latest technologies. Have excellent English written and spoken communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and strong knowledge of project management principles.  Proven technical, problem solving and troubleshooting ability. A flexible, team orientated individual used to work in an often-fast paced environment. Ability to work under own initiative with minimum supervision and be a self-starter. Analytical with excellent customer service skills, always ensuring the solution meets or exceeds end user requirements and expectations. Delivers a professional approach in all engagements or situations. 

Desirable 

MSC/ MA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field Microsoft Azure Foundation CCNA or other Networking  Prior experience working at in an IT Security facing role for a global organization. Prior experience of dealing with a Cyber related DR or BC event.  Strong knowledge and understanding of working towards Security Standards such as CE+, NIST and ISO 27001.
