We are looking for motivated engineers and specialists to join our IN-CYPHER research programme on the cybersecurity of connected medical devices and systems. The research programme represents a collaboration between the United Kingdom and Singapore and will be based at the newly established Imperial Global Singapore (IGS). Our ambition is to both secure existing hospital devices and to develop future medical technology that is secure by design, to enable secure and precise personalised medicine at scale.

As a successful applicant, you will contribute to the success of the research programme according to your speciality.

You will continue to develop and apply your skills to further IN-CYPHER's mission, while maintaining meticulous documentation and adhering to the highest standards of scientific integrity in your work. You will actively contribute to the program's success through proactive participation, collaboration with other staff and external partners from different disciplines, support of publication in high-quality journals, and presentation of your work, all while ensuring your work promotes the positive reputation of IGS and IN-CYPHER.

There is also room for you to conduct research aligned with the programme, supported by experienced members of staff.

An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, ideally master’s degreeExperience of applying skills relevant to one or more of the advertised positions in a research/production environmentExperience in analysis, interpretation and visualisation of scientific dataKnowledge of methods relevant to one or more of the advertised positionsAbility to work independently and with minimal supervision and prioritise work in response to deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively, as part of a large, distributed team, potentially across different time-zonesDiscipline and regard for confidentiality and security
