Let’s talk about you.Does this sound like you?A Head of Legal/DPO with a wealth of experience in managing complex matters and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. You are an expert in drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate agreements and developing scalable legal processes. An inspiring leader who is excited by the prospect of joining a scale up and being an integral part of their growth.What you’ll do:This role will report into the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer and will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the legal and DPO program at Flagstone. You will be work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to Legal requirements and industry best practices.Undertake executional legal work while providing leadership and direction to the team.Draft, review, negotiate, and provide advice on a variety of corporate agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Contracts, and Trust Letters.Maintain and update customer Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).Undertake executional legal work while providing leadership and direction to the team.Provide legal support to our Board and executive team, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.Lead document management processes and handle administrative tasks for the Legal team.Develop and implement scalable legal processes to support the company’s legal framework.Serve as the Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.What you’ll bring:10+ years spent working as a qualified/licensed attorney and DPO experienceStrong Financial corporate law background and Fintech experienceExperience advising executives.Experience managing outside counsel.Strong academic credentials and qualification to practice law in the UK.A Forward-thinking attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to tackle new challenges.Phenomenal communication skills and ability to explain sophisticated legal issues clearly and simply.Exceptional analytical skills, with a business-centric focus on risk.Strong leadership and team management abilities.The Ability to manage complex legal matters efficiently.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.How we reward you:At Flagstone, the benefits extend beyond false gifts like “fruit and snacks”.
