The role
Huguenots is a business that has established an excellent reputation in the market and is now growing quickly, winning new clients and launching new product steams. As we grow, we are investing across all teams to build greater depth and are now looking for an experienced, but hands-on Cyber and Information Security Manager to join our Technology Team. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for rapid career progression in a fast-paced financial technology firm.
In this role, you will have the opportunity early on to manage and own projects. You will report directly to senior management and your role will involve high-level engagement with the infrastructure and information security teams at our clients (major fund management companies). The role will require you to be hands-on, taking full ownership of our Cyber and Information Security Management System.
This is an onsite role, based at our prestigious offices in the heart of the City of London. Across our business, all teams are office-based with a highly collaborative culture and universally strong technical skillset. You will therefore find yourself surrounded by subject matter experts, enabling you to quickly develop a strong understanding of our products and the asset management industry, if new to the sector.
Key responsibilities:
Information Security is key to our business, so we would expect you to have proven experience in the following areas:
- Designing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures and processes
- Managing all aspects of our ISO 27001 programme including gaining initial ISO certification and supporting the ongoing audit cycle
- Servicing of security systems in line with industry best practice and compliance with ISO 27001 standards, GDPR and internal company policies
- Writing and reviewing technical documentation, ensuring documents are written to a high standard, are clear for readers, and can be easily understood for auditing purposes
- Working with external and internal teams to ensure a consistent security approach
About you:
- Extensive experience as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
- High professional standards with a strong eye for detail
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an information security/infrastructure specialist
- University degree in a relevant field
