Due to continued growth, we’re looking for our nextCompliance Coordinatorto complement and support our clients, customers and colleagues through the UK.
With the leadership and support of our Risk and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for co ordinating effective Data Protection, Health & Safety and compliance controls, whilst also assisting with due diligence and compliance management.
The role can be office based or hybrid working from our Manchester Office. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
What you’ll be doing
Assist with Client, third party and internal audits and due diligence for new and existing relationships relating to the business compliance.
- Assist with regular reviews of the risks facing the business and the adequacy of mitigation plans
- Support the Risk & Compliance Manager in all aspects of Business Continuity, Information Security, GDPR, and all related regulatory compliance matters.
- Ensuring all locations are providing monthly Health & Safety Checklists and are completing all required Health & Safety reporting, and provide feedback to the Health & Safety team of any issues
- Organise and minute the Business Continuity, Information Security and Health & Safety quarterly meetings and ensure actions are completed
- Ensure all H&S training is up to date in accordance with H&S regulations
- Assist with the updating of policies and processes in line with any regulatory changes or annual updates
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
- Log all incidents of data breaches and provide monthly report to the Risk & Compliance Manager
- Log any other incidents and assist in investigation and information gathering
- Ensure Health & Safety training for all staff is up to date and completed annually
- Complete DSAR requests and log these across commercial and specialist services
About you:
Due to the nature of our business, it’s essential you’ll come from an insurance or Loss Adjusting backgroundand enjoy the challenge that a compliance role brings. As your role will involve working with data, we’ll need you to have experience with Excel. Additionally, please ensure your CV details your compliance experience, as this is essential to be considered.
We will also needs you to evidence your continuous learning and monitoring of risk and compliance changes within our industry.
You will also have/ will be:
- Previous compliance experience, either within a Loss adjusting or Insurance business, and evidence of your understanding of regulations and industry standards
- Awareness of the regulatory landscape
- Able to review and suggest amendments to complex documents, including policies and plans
- Customer Service experience including the ability to engage with customers from different backgrounds and experiences
- A proactive approach, providing guidance to colleagues on non-compliance reduction, risk mitigation and to improve our approach in managing compliance
- Customer and Quality focused in providing exceptional service levels to both internal and external customers
- A true team player, working and supporting colleagues throughout the business
- Be proactive, managing your daily workloads to exceed customer expectations
- Enjoy working to targets and gaining satisfaction on achieving your key performance indicators
- Comfortable in working on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Have great communication skills and happy to provide information when it’s needed most
