Job Overview:

To support the continued evolution to more capable IoT devices, Arm is seeking a leader to define our approach in lowering the barrier to deploying rich OS IoT end points running AI inference. The role of a senior leader in an application engineering will develop a team responsible for defining, testing and tuning the out of the box experience for developer platforms reducing TTM for customer solutions.

This role will combine a knowledge of hardware and software, ideally with experience in deploying edge AI solutions. If you have meaningful experience and want to help us define the future of high performance edge computing, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

Ownership of comprehensive applications and hardware solutions that are deployment-ready and engaging for a broad set of developers.

Set the vision and strategy for application development boards and single board computing reference designs for IoT market

Build example edge AI applications showcasing the ease of deployment for models on Arm solutions

Provide support to lead customers and scale knowledge through Arm’s Partner Enablement Teams

Define the benchmark of performance and developer experiences for the industry by providing practical metrics from existing best in class devices

Working in collaborative manner ensuring that engineering teams across Arm provide a coherent experience for hardware, software and tools

Required Skills and Experience :

SoC application engineering with team leadership experience

Customer facing experience and strategic problem solver

BS in engineering preferred and experience in the semiconductor industry

Highly motivated problem solver with ability to work across teams to build consensus

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

AI model development, deployment or AI tooling for rich OS platform

BSP development and understanding of SoC system architectures

Solid understanding of the semi-conductor value chain: microprocessor, fabs, packaging, assembly, test, and board design

Experience interfacing at all levels of business – technical teams, business decision makers and executives
