Yard Operative – Chelveston, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Yard Operatives to join our well-established client based in Chelveston, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering competitive rates of pay, long-term ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression.

Shifts
 • Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 17:00
 • OR 4-day rota’d shift pattern

Rates of Pay
 • £12.50 per hour

Benefits
 • Weekly pay

 • Immediate starts available

Day-to-Day Duties
 • Working on a recycling line handling fruit, vegetables, and bakery products
 • Operating a cage lifter to ensure smooth movement of produce
 • Separating food items from packaging and checking for contaminants
 • Loading and unloading trailers safely
 • General housekeeping and cleaning duties, including use of pressure washers
 • Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times

Essential Skills
 • Basic level of English (spoken and written)
 • Reliability and excellent timekeeping
 • Strong attention to detail
 • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 • Comfortable working within a food waste department environment

Training Provided
 • Full training provided on site with ongoing support throughout your assignment
