Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join a leading global logistics and distribution business based in Chesterfield. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment and wants a long-term role with genuine opportunities to grow.

You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team working with the latest warehouse technology. We're looking for people who are reliable, switched-on, and confident using computers as part of their day-to-day work.

Key duties include:

- Picking customer orders accurately using the Autostore system and handheld scanners
- Inputting product codes and quantities on PC-based systems
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations as required
- Following warehouse safety procedures and keeping work areas tidy
- Working as part of a team to meet targets and maintain high standards

Working hours:

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- No weekend working

Pay and benefits:

- £12.21 per hour
- Overtime available at enhanced rates (Time and a Half and Double Time)
- Weekly pay through Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment
- Long-term, full-time role with potential for permanent employment
- Modern warehouse facilities and a supportive management team

What we're looking for:

- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- MHE training or licences (Reach, VNA, Counterbalance) are desirable but not essential - training can be provided
- Confident using computers and scanners for order picking
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Own transport preferred due to the location
