Role: Teaching Assistant

Location: Bootle. Sefton

Salary: £105-115 per day (depending on experience)

Working Days: Monday to Friday (8.15am-3.30pm)

Connex Education is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate KS1 teaching assistant to provide general and group support to a Y2 class. The role will require a teaching assistant with experience supporting children SEN and beahviour needs.

About the role:

As a Y2 teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored interventions with pupils with special educational needs across Y2. The role requires a consistent, reliable, and adaptable TA who can contribute to building a positive school environment. Experience supporting children with special educational needs is essential for this role.

Qualifications and requirements:


  • Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
  • It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
