The hours of work and shift pattern is Monday to Friday 4pm - 12:10am

The rates of pay are: £17.24



Main Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership and accountability for the performance and operations of your assigned line/area.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, Health & Safety, and Food Safety requirements; take immediate action to halt and correct unsafe practices.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Achieve planned production throughput and proactively monitor operational progress.

  • Collaborate with fellow team leaders and other departments to address and resolve any operational issues.

  • Complete and manage export documentation accurately and on time.

  • Coordinate efficient export schedules in collaboration with the By-Products Management team.

  • Ensure all lorries are correctly loaded and products are certified appropriately for export destinations.

  • Monitor and control the temperature of all exportable products to meet quality standards.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with export agents and hauliers for smooth logistics.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer queries, maintaining positive customer relationships.

  • Oversee dolav production, ensuring the product meets customer specifications and is correctly allocated.

  • Maintain accurate records and KPI data, ensuring effective filing and reporting.

  • Liaise with labour agencies to order temporary/agency workers as needed.

  • Uphold and promote all safe-working practices; intervene and report unsafe conditions or behaviours.

  • Ensure compliance with all training and standards in basic food hygiene, health and safety, and product quality.

  • Act in the best interests of 2 Sisters Food Group , its brands, customers, and end consumers.

  • Support a culture of behavioural food safety and continuous improvement in quality standards.

  • Perform additional duties as required to support factory operations, including working on production lines or yard areas when necessary.

  • Proven ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both internally and externally (including suppliers, customers, and regulatory officials).

  • A successful track record in team leadership, with experience in building team capability, managing performance, and handling issues in line with company and legal standards.

  • Strong decision-making skills and the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively.

  • Full commitment to legal compliance across Health & Safety, technical standards, and people management, while embodying the organisation’s core values and competencies.

  • Excellent computer literacy, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

  • Solid numeracy skills.

  • Food Safety Level 3 certification.

  • HACCP Level 3 certification.

  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

  • Completion of Highfields e-learning – 2SFG modules (or willingness to complete upon appointment).
