We're Hiring: Operational Resilience Manager**
Location: Remote (UK Residents only) - With travel to London Canary Wharf when required
Hours: Full Time Role 09:00-17:30
Contract: 6 Months - but with potential opportunity to become perm after

Following the acquisition of Kensington Mortgages Company (KMC) by Barclays, we are entering the exciting final phase of our SOx Implementation programme and we are recruiting for a highly motivated SOx Manager to lead the charge

This newly created role will be integral in shaping and optimising our business processes and internal controls. You will act as a key partner to the business and liase with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a detailed knowledge of SOx and COSO frameworks, excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively across a range of internal and external partners.

Key Accountabilities

Advise process and control owners on control design and implementation improvements
Support business functions in ensuring controls are well-designed, documented, and effective.
Act as a liaison between business process owners, Barclays SOx teams, and external auditors.
Evaluate and resolve control deficiencies, using root cause analysis, impact assessment, remediation planning
Maintain and update SOx documentation including RACMs and process flows, in line with COSO and PCAOB standards.
Assist with SOC report reviews and the preparation of Audit Committee materials.
Communicate proactively with SOx and Finance Leadership teams on key risks, and improvements

Experience, Knowledge, Skills

Extensive audit experience ideally within a Big 4 accounting firm.
Strong understanding of SOx, COSO frameworks and internal controls
Highly organised, motivated, meticulous with the ability to work independently.
Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
Able to easily manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to find solutions that meet requirements while supporting business operations and objectives.
