Job Summary

We are seeking a Chromatographic Bioanalysis Senior Research Scientist for our Safety Assessment Group located in Elphinstone, Tranent.
 


The following are responsibilities related to the position:

• Run studies in support of Bioanalysis method validation and subsequent routine samples generated within GLP and/or GCP regulatory studies
• Demonstrate a good understanding of project management principles
• Takes responsibility for making decisions to move things forward
• Promotes a learning culture, committed to continuous improvement and development
• Supervise, mentor and coach staff as assigned.
• Ensure standards of record keeping in-line with principles of GLP.
• Perform analysis of data for quality and completeness and determines if results are as expected.
• Recording data in compliance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.



 
The following are minimum qualifications related to the position:

• Relevant qualifications, specifically a minimum of a scientific degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience working in a study management role in a GLP/GCP regulated environment
• Experience supervising a team
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills as well as an ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines 
• A working knowledge of sample preparation and chromatographic techniques.
• Good problem solving skills

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
