Allianz Partners’ is a Global leader in B2B Insurance and Assistance Services. The UK Sales team partners with a number well known brands in the Travel, Banking, Broker, and Insurance sectors.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Travel Insurance - you will be responsible for managing and developing our key travel partnerships assigned to you, though first-class relationship and account management. The role is to maximise Allianz Partners’ strategic, commercial and customer objectives within the partnership(s) that you run. You will manage and support all aspects of the partnership(s) including delivery of our contractual commitments, regulatory obligations, and growth initiatives. Your objectives will include a combination of Revenue, Profitability, Growth, and adherence to Regulatory requirements.

Main Duties

The role is challenging and rewarding, requiring enthusiasm, drive, and customer focus. You will need to have experience of managing strong commercial and personal relationships across with key clients, working effectively internally and externally to ensure all services meet contracted performance requirements.

In summary, you will be required to:

  • Build key internal and external relationships to drive results through effective teamwork.
  • Continually review process and products to add value to the service proposition and partnership.
  • Have a high level of understanding of the travel insurance distribution models including at a minimum the direct and aggregator channels.
  • Effectively communicate and steer decision making
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen to be able to challenge internally and externally when required.
  • Have attention to detail and proven organisational abilities.
  • Have proven delivery of growth and development in similar roles.
  • Coach prospective and existing partners on the benefits of Allianz Partners products and services, detailing our business model and value proposition.
  • Deliver budgeted revenue via portfolio of existing partner(s) and identify new opportunities to generate growth.
  • Create, track, and maintain opportunities, renewals, and contacts in Salesforce.
  • Be able to people manage as a manager for other Account Managers if required in the future due to business requirement.
  • Produce, review, and distribute accurate reports which may include but not limited to:
    • Monthly reports on account development
    • Budgets
    • Strategic account strategy (this may include a competitor analysis)
    • Ad hoc reports or projects requested by the Head of Travel Insurance or Chief Sales Officer

You will be required to own and manage the delivery of Allianz Partners’ and partner requirements by ensuring the support and co-ordination of internal stakeholders, including in the following key areas:

    • Operations
    • Finance
    • Underwriting
    • Product, Marketing & Innovations
    • Legal and compliance
    • HR

You will also be responsible for the following;

Health & Safety

  • To ensure that your work area is kept safe and tidy at all times.
  • To abide by the Health & Safety Work Act 1974.
  • To notify the Company Health & Safety officer or the CEO of any Health & Safety issues which may cause harm to fellow employees.

Training

  • To advise your Manager of any areas of work for which you require any additional training.

Quality Management System

  • To work as a member of a team within the quality system and follow all documented quality procedures and instructions.

Key Performance Areas

  • To work towards achieving 100% on all Company, departmental, team and individual key performance targets.

Appraisals

  • Participate and contribute towards individual annual appraisals, team meetings and regular one-to-one assessment sessions.

General

  • To manage or assist with relevant ad-hoc projects as required by the Head of Travel Insurance or Chief Sales Officer.
  • Complete all appropriate administration.
  • Provide relevant reports to the Head of Travel Insurance or Chief Sales Officer.
  • Carry out any other additional duties as requested by the Head of Travel Insurance or Chief Sales Officer from time to time within the scope of your role.

Regulatory

  • To work within and be compliant at all times with all relevant regulations and legislation applicable to the role

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday - flexibility required to fit in within business and client needs.

Location:

Hybrid of Working from Home, Croydon Office and Partners premises when required. It is anticipated that on average at least one day per week will be required in London and as required with partners.
