An award-winning, privately owned developer with a track record of success and a reputation for attracting top industry talent is looking to expand its commercial team. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the housebuilding sector.

The Role:


As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects – from site procurement through to final account. You’ll be working on a variety of residential schemes and will be fully involved in all aspects of cost planning and control.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and issuing trade specifications and tender packages
  • Tender analysis and subcontractor appointment
  • Managing subcontractor packages and attending pre-start meetings
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance is in place pre-construction
  • Budget management and cost reporting
  • Site measurements, valuations, and managing final accounts
  • Liaising with internal and external teams to drive commercial success


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housebuilding/residential development sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Ability to run your own projects independently
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving licence (regular site travel required)
