Property Management Surveyor

Milton Keynes – travel to sites nationwide

Permanent

£50,000–£60,000 DOE

We are partnering with one of the UK’s most respected regional management companies to appoint a technically minded Property Manager with strong surveying knowledge.

This is a career-defining opportunity to take charge of a diverse, multi-client commercial portfolio -from industrial and office assets to neighbourhood retail. You will combine hands-on building knowledge with strategic insight to ensure every property is compliant, efficient, and performing at its best.

As part of a high-performing Property & Asset Management team, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with surveyors and asset managers, turning technical understanding into tangible results. This role is ideal for someone who loves being out on-site, solving problems, and getting under the skin of how buildings really work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess condition, maintenance, and statutory compliance (H&S, Fire, Asbestos, etc.).
  • Collaborate with surveyors and consultants to plan, procure, and oversee maintenance and capital works.
  • Manage daily operations across a mixed commercial portfolio, driving compliance, cost efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.
  • Prepare and manage service charge budgets - ensuring transparency and value.
  • Build trusted tenant relationships and handle lease compliance and operational queries.
  • Support clients with asset enhancement projects - from refurbishments to lease events.
  • Deliver clear, data-backed portfolio reporting on performance and opportunities to add value.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in commercial property or estate management, ideally with a surveying or technical focus.
  • Solid grasp of building pathology, maintenance planning, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of service charges, landlord & tenant law, and property finance.
  • Organised, methodical, and confident juggling multiple sites and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solution-focused communicator and negotiator.
  • MRICS-qualified (or working towards) - desirable, not essential.

Why this role?

  • Variety: Manage a broad range of assets - no two days or clients are the same.
  • Autonomy: Take real ownership of your portfolio, backed by an expert technical team.
  • Impact: See your surveying expertise directly influence asset performance and client satisfaction.
  • Progression: Join a consultancy that invests in its people, offering support and clear career development.

If you’re ready to blend property management with practical building know-how, this is your chance to make a real impact!

Role advertised: 11th November 2025

Why Cyber Security Careers in the UK Are Becoming More Multidisciplinary

Cyber security used to be viewed primarily as a technical discipline: firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection, penetration testing. In the UK today, it’s far broader. Organisations now face complex legal frameworks, ethical dilemmas, human-behaviour risks, communication challenges & usability hurdles. This shift means cyber security careers are becoming more multidisciplinary. From protecting NHS patient records to defending financial services, securing supply chains & safeguarding national infrastructure, cyber security now touches every sector. Employers increasingly want professionals who understand law, ethics, psychology, linguistics & design alongside traditional technical skills. In this article, we’ll explore why UK cyber security careers are expanding in this way, how these five disciplines shape the profession, and what job-seekers & employers need to know to thrive in this new landscape.

Cyber Security Team Structures Explained: Who Does What in a Modern Cyber Security Department

Cyber security has become a top priority for UK organisations of all sizes. From small businesses to financial institutions, healthcare providers, and government bodies, the risk of cyber attack is now a constant concern. Threats are more sophisticated, regulations more demanding, and customers more aware of data privacy than ever before. But defending against cyber threats isn’t simply about having the right tools — it’s about having the right team. A modern cyber security department relies on clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure that defences are proactive, incidents are managed swiftly, and compliance is maintained. This article explains the structure of a modern cyber security team, the roles you’ll typically find within it, how they collaborate, and what skills, qualifications, and salaries are expected in the UK job market.
