We're looking for a Production Scheduler to join our busy manufacturing site - a key role ensuring our production runs smoothly and efficiently across 11 manufacturing lines.

The Role

  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for 11 manufacturing lines.
  • Work collaboratively with factory and production managers to prioritise and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Manage customer expectations around supply and potential delays, maintaining excellent service levels.
  • Communicate clearly with key stakeholders in daily meetings and planning discussions.
  • Use the Informer Advanced Scheduler, integrated with SAP, to manage and update production plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance scheduling efficiency and reduce downtime.

About You

You'll be confident, detail-focused, and comfortable working with data, systems, and people. You'll enjoy finding practical solutions and thrive in a busy environment where no two days are the same.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are key, as you'll be liaising daily with production teams and other departments to ensure plans are clear and achievable.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (food manufacturing experience advantageous).
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience using SAP or other MRP/ERP systems.
  • Understanding of Informer Advanced Scheduler (training provided).
