About the Mobile Vehicle Technician Role:

Are you an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician who enjoys the freedom of the open road and thrives in a customer-facing, independent environment? Our client, a respected Franchised Main Car Dealership, is looking for a Mobile Mechanic to join their expanding mobile service team, providing exceptional support to private and business customers across Crawley and the surrounding West Sussex area.

You’ll be working with a dealer group that’s committed to customer service excellence, innovation, and employee flexibility—including the ability to tailor your working hours to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities for the Mobile Vehicle Technician:Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and diagnostics at customer homes, workplaces, or roadside as required.Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard, with minimal supervision.Diagnose vehicle faults efficiently, using modern diagnostic tools and techniques.Attend breakdown and emergency call-outs, delivering high-quality service with clear communication.Ensure all customer documentation, job cards, and service logs are completed accurately.Work safely and responsibly, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Provide a professional, courteous, and informative service to all clients and customers.Requirements of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.Main dealer or independent workshop experience preferred.Comfortable working independently in a mobile capacity.Excellent communication and customer service skills.A valid, full UK driving licence.Living within commutable distance of Croydon and willing to travel across the region.EV qualification is desirable but not essential—training can be provided.
