We have an amazing opportunity for a weekend Laundry assistant to join our caring and support team at our service Hunters Moor in Birmingham.

Hunters Moor accommodates patients requiring neuro rehabilitation, which may include complex physical rehabilitation needs.

We are looking for an attentive Laundry Attendant to support the functions of our establishment and the needs of our patients and service users.

A Laundry Attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, and folding laundry as needed. Also ensuring personal belongings are returned to the correct individuals and in good repair. They may also be responsible for the planning of maintenance of laundry equipment and other duties around the facility.

Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in the presentation of the establishment by ensuring all laundry is well cared for and maintained within a reasonable time.


What you'll be working:

Part time hours 16 hours per week

Fixed Term - 6 months

Weekends

08.00-16.00


What you'll be doing:

  • Sorting, washing, drying, and folding clothing and other textile items
  • Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures
  • Maintaining peoples personal belongings to a high standard

What you'll have:

  • Good Communication skills
  • Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
