Main Responsibilities



The Junior Sous Chef will support the smooth operation of
kitchen services, ensuring the team delivers high-quality dishes that exceed
customer expectations. This role requires a proactive approach to
problem-solving and a focus on customer satisfaction. You will oversee daily
kitchen operations, manage food stock, and ensure adherence to food quality and
safety standards.



Key responsibilities include managing stock levels,
conducting monthly stock takes, overseeing deliveries, and minimizing food
waste. You will also help organize supplier training and tastings, manage the
kitchen rota, and ensure the flow of service runs efficiently. Additionally,
you will monitor food quality, consistency, and presentation, ensuring it meets
company standards.



You will assist in training and developing kitchen staff,
providing guidance and feedback on performance, and conducting regular
appraisals. Ensuring that all team members follow procedures and uphold company
values will be a key aspect of your role.



As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in
maintaining food quality and consistency in line with Sam’s Genuine
Restaurants' philosophy. You will help ensure that dishes are cooked,
presented, and served according to our high standards while keeping up with
seasonal trends and food safety regulations.



Punctuality, professionalism, and good personal hygiene are
essential. The Junior Sous Chef will be expected to arrive on time, be
presentable, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth
operations throughout the shift.



This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop
leadership skills, support kitchen operations, and contribute to maintaining
high culinary standards in a fast-paced environment.
