HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver (Temp to Perm)

Location: Barnsley

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (4 nights away)

Salary: £17.37 per hour + (£25.00 per evening expense – increases when you move to perm)


About the Role


We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled driver who is confident operating tippers and is seeking long-term, stable employment with career progression opportunities.


The role involves transporting bulk materials, ensuring safe and timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.


Key responsibilities:

Safely operating a Class 2 Tipper vehicle


Transporting and tipping loads across sites and customer locations
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and paperwork

What we are looking for:

Valid HGV Class 2 Licence


Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
Proven experience driving tippers
Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
