MD5 Limited, based in Normanton, West Yorkshire, isexcited to offer an opportunityforExperienced Digital Forensic Analyst(s)to join one of the UK’s leading digital and eForensics organisations.

We proudly support a wide range of clients, includingLaw Enforcement and Government Agencies, as well asCorporate and Legal firms. Please note that some casework may involve exposure to sensitive and potentially distressing material (e.g., indecent images of children).

The Role

This position involves working across the full spectrum of digital/eForensic analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for theacquisition and investigation of a wide range of electronic evidenceand have3 years’ experiencein the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition and examination of digital devices and electronic evidence
  • Documentation and reporting of forensic findings in line with legal and procedural standards
  • Supporting criminal, civil, or internal investigations
  • Maintaining chain of custody and evidence integrity
  • Potentially providing expert witness testimony

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum2 years’ experienceas a Digital Forensic Analyst (three years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge ofdigital hardware,file systems, andoperating system artefacts
  • Understanding of thelegal frameworks and forensic principlessurrounding electronic evidence
  • Experience using forensic tools such asEnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM, etc.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex technical findings clearly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
