Are you a nurturing and creative Early Years Teacher ready to make a lasting impact on children’s first steps in education?
GSL Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming primary school in Brentwood, seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their Early Years team on a long-term basis.


About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Early Years professional who’s passionate about fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
You’ll be working within a supportive school environment where play-based learning and positive relationships are at the heart of everything they do.

This long-term position offers the chance to become part of a close-knit team and see your pupils grow and flourish throughout the year.


What You’ll Be Doing



  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework


  • Creating a warm, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment


  • Supporting each child’s individual learning journey through play and exploration


  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues


  • Contributing to the wider school community and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning



What We’re Looking For



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS


  • Experience teaching within an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception)


  • A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development


  • A caring, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching


  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
