Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Required in Croydon. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our client’s dealership in Croydon, Surrey. This well-established, manufacturer-owned dealership offers a supportive environment for skilled technicians looking to develop their careers.

Salary & Benefits for the Diagnostic Technician:

Basic salary up to £37,500, with OTE reaching £44,000 Sign-On Bonus: £1,500 including:£750 on joining£250 upon brand accreditation £500 after 12 months of service Additional basic pay per month for MOT-qualified technicians Company Car Scheme: Access up to two company-branded vehicles, including insurance, servicing, breakdown, and tyre cover Performance-based bonuses and rewards Generous pension contributions up to 7% 42.5-hour week Monday - Friday, with Saturdays on a 1 in 3 morning rota Holidays starting at 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service Additional employee benefits including discount portal, employee assistance programme, occupational health support, personal accident insurance, and more

Role Summary: As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. Using specialised diagnostic tools, you will identify issues and deliver exceptional service.

Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systemsPerform repairs, servicing, and inspectionsUse diagnostic equipment efficiently and accuratelyMaintain detailed records of all work performedCollaborate with team members to ensure high-quality customer serviceFollow safety standards and maintain a clean working environmentCandidate Profile of the Diagnostic Technician:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & RepairProven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar roleStrong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnosticsExcellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailGood communication skills and a professional attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMOT qualification is advantageousAdditional Opportunities for the Diagnostic Technician:
