As a Customer Services Advisor you will have proven experience in administration within a complex, fast-paced environment, alongside strong call-handling skills and excellent IT proficiency. Be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities and maintain a patient-focused approach at all times. You will have the ability to provide a professional, courteous, sensitive, and empathetic manner, combined with enthusiasm, high motivation, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.


As a Customer Services Advisor, you will:

  • Liaise directly with customers, answering all enquiries.

  • Contribute to and manage local business development, marketing and communication initiatives to promote the services of the hospital throughout the local community.

  • To handle customer enquiries (both telephone and internet), supplying potential customers with information about the services offered at the hospital

  • To support the Medical Secretaries and Hospital Bookings Teams to ensure that customer requirements/queries are effectively dealt with.

  • To coordinate customer journeys, ensuring that customers have a good understanding of the defined customer journey expectations including -

- Identifying all hospital areas which have customer touch points to ensure shared knowledge and understanding

- Providing information required to enable other areas to respond to all customer enquiries to the defined quality and timeline standards

- Collating information which effect or influence the customer experience

To introduce new processes to improve customer advise and service, as required

  • To support the definition, development, communication and implementation of business development and marketing plans and activities.

  • To provide advice and guidance to other team members and the wider hospital

  • To develop constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • To effectively and proactively develop constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • To promote the Nuffield Health brand consistently across all stakeholders, supporting the implementation of national brand values and guidelines.


As a Customer Services Advisor, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a customer service, sales or marketing role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of IT literacy

  • Good organizational skills

Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy, health screening, diagnostics and a dental suite.
